The NDSU FORWARD Team submitted an NSF ADVANCE Institutional Transformation proposal in July 2005. Currently, the Team is preparing to create a Center from which to coordinate activities to Focus On Resources for Women’s Advancement, Retention, and Development.

This year’s activities include:

• Development of a proposal to expand Child Care placements for NDSU students, faculty and staff. This is a coordinated effort between NDSU and the YWCA

• Development of a faculty peer mentoring program for Fall 2006

• Workshop on Gender with guest speaker Dr. Judith Lorber, CUNY Graduate Center
