REMELE FELLOWSHIPS

Since 1986, the NDHC has offered research fellowships to humanities scholars who live or work in North Dakota. The impressive list of 119 selected Fellows includes some of the best scholars and most skilled public presenters in the state. Named in 1989 in memory of the late Larry Remele, longtime editor of North Dakota History, the state history journal, the fellowships have been awarded for studies that address deeply engaging topics within the broad perspective of the humanities.
